We at The Veilguide Society are working to make our site The EV.E. Directive.com accessible to people with disabilities.

​OUR COMMITMENT

The E.V.E. Directive is committed to making our content accessible to everyone. We investigate systems that exclude people — we have no interest in building one ourselves.
We are an independent operation actively working to meet and maintain accessibility standards across our website and content.

WHAT WE'RE DOING

Alt Text: We aim to include descriptive alt text on all images across our website and social media platforms. This is an ongoing process — if you find an image missing alt text, please let us know.

Colour Contrast: Our design uses high contrast where possible to support readability for users with visual impairments.

Font Readability: We use legible font sizes and avoid relying solely on colour to convey information.

Captions: We aim to include captions on video content. We are actively working to ensure all existing and future video content is captioned.

Keyboard Navigation: We are working to ensure our site can be navigated without a mouse.

Plain Language: Where possible, complex information is explained in clear, accessible language — because the whole point is for people to actually understand it.
